七彩云南万千气象|一粒咖啡豆撬动庄园游新赛道Colorful Yunnan Countless Meteorology - A Coffee Bean Boosts the New Track of Manor Tour

CCTV Baoshan, March 26th (Reporter Wei Wenqing) Staying at a coffee plantation and waking up in the aroma of coffee, this immersive romance is becoming a new trend in tourism. On March 25th, the "Coffee Yunnan" themed event kicked off in Baoshan. Renowned internet celebrities from across the country gathered in Lujiangba to focus their cameras on a rapidly growing new business model - coffee plantation tourism, through a mobile and immersive experience.
From the flavor of a cup of coffee to a journey, from a single coffee bean to an industrial chain, Yunnan is exploring a new path for high-quality industrial development through the integration of "coffee+culture and tourism".
The opening of 'Coffee in Yunnan': Coffee becomes a new entrance for cultural tourism
The "Coffee Yunnan" themed event is hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce, and co organized by the Baoshan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Baoshan Municipal People's Government. At the event, the "Top 10 Boutique Coffee Plantations in Yunnan for 2026" tour was officially released, connecting coffee plantations, rural scenery, and ethnic culture, allowing tourists to shift from "drinking coffee" to "experiencing coffee".

The 10 routes involve multiple prefectures and cities such as Kunming, Baoshan, Pu'er, Dehong, Lincang, Xishuangbanna, Dali, Nujiang, Honghe, etc. Among them, the Pu'er Menglian route connects the boutique coffee themed street of Nayun Ancient Town, Laizhuke Forest Cafe, Qiaoan Coffee Manor and other points, taking tourists to taste the pure coffee flavor of the mountains; The Nujiang route connects the secret estates at the foot of Gaoligong Mountain, such as Zhiziluo Coffee Manor and Laomudeng Cafe, allowing tourists to experience the rich aroma of the canyon in one stop; Lujiangba in Baoshan City can take tourists to visit Xinzhai Village, Shuanghongqiao Roadside Cafe, Gaoligong International Boutique Coffee Culture Park and other places to experience the "strong but not bitter, fragrant but not strong" Baoshan small grain coffee.
In recent years, relying on the geographical advantage of the "Golden Coffee Belt" along the Tropic of Cancer, Yunnan has formed a complete chain from planting, processing to consumer experience. Data shows that during the 14th Five Year Plan period, the average annual growth rate of coffee production in the province exceeded 33%, becoming a nearly 100 billion yuan scale industry. With the upgrading of consumption and the growth of travel demand, coffee plantations have gradually transformed from production spaces to tourist destinations, becoming an important lever for promoting industrial value enhancement.
Immersive experience: from "having a drink" to "taking a walk"
In Lujiangba, Longyang District, Baoshan City, a 10000 acre coffee plantation stretches along the Nu River. Visitors to the estate can not only taste coffee, but also participate in picking, processing, baking, and hand brewing experiences.

The coffee self media blogger "Jialiang Coffee" who participated in this event came from Dalian to Baoshan specifically. He said that the biggest attraction of a coffee plantation tour is the immersive experience. Entering the estate, you can see coffee tree planting, fruit harvesting, coffee bean processing, and fully experience the process of a cup of coffee from seed to cup. He believes that in the context of gradually homogenized tourism content, Yunnan has unique advantages in combining coffee with tourism. Exposure to coffee through play has lowered the threshold for the public to understand coffee, which is very helpful for promoting the coffee industry
The cultural and travel blogger "Peng Xiaoniu Travel Notes" is from Yunnan and has visited multiple coffee plantations in Baoshan, Pu'er, Lincang and other places. What impressed her the most was the ecological environment and diverse experiences of the estate. In the morning, there is morning mist, and I smell the aroma of coffee and beans. Drinking coffee in that environment has a completely different experience, "she said. Coffee plantations in different production areas have their own characteristics, some built along the mountains, and some coexisting with the forest." The taste and flavor of coffee in each place are also different
In her opinion, a coffee plantation is not only a production base, but also a cultural and tourism experience space. She said that in the future, she will recommend Yunnan coffee plantations to more tourists through cultural and tourism content, "using coffee travel as a new way to unlock Yunnan

The rise of coffee plantation tourism is bringing new development momentum to rural areas. In Baoshan Xinzhai Village, coffee has integrated into the village's texture, and activities such as coffee culture festivals, brewing competitions, and estate experiences have attracted a large number of tourists. Nowadays, multiple boutique coffee estates have been built here, forming a one-stop experience chain from seeds to cups. Yunnan coffee not only occupies the "coffee spot" in the cup, but also writes a rich chapter of rural revitalization on the new track of "coffee tourism integration".
