萧伯纳喝过它磨的咖啡！来这场“快闪”看读书人的老物件George Bernard Shaw has tasted his ground coffee! Come to this' flash mob 'to see old objects of readers

一台外观古老斑驳的咖啡机，曾在1933年2月，为下榻在礼查饭店（今中国证券博物馆）的文坛巨匠萧伯纳研磨过咖啡豆，留下一缕跨越百年的文学醇香。在上海文学馆对面的读者服务中心，记者看到了这台颇有故事的“西屋咖啡磨豆机”。目前，“文学明珠快闪活动”正在这里举办，将持续至9月底。

走进读者服务中心，处处都是浓郁的文学氛围。整个空间的设计呼应了上海文学馆中“时光·上海、左翼·上海、都市·上海、光影·上海、世界·上海”五大常设展区，以名人画像、文学金句、老物旧件、手绘地图、艺术窗贴为展示载体。五大场景沿动线依次排布，参观时移步换景，沉浸式感受“上海文学”的时空巡礼。

最让人直观感受到时代变迁的，是“时光上海”展区那些与书写、阅读有关的老物件。在没有笔记本电脑和智能手机的年代里，作家和文人如何“随时随地”办公写作？一台1930年代的移动写作桌或许能告诉你答案。掀开顶盖，撑起倾斜的书写板，打开自带的灯，一切就绪——既可伏案写作，又可轻倚阅读。

过去的人们如何存书？和我们现在多用书架不一样，以前常用书箱，更小巧便携。这里陈列的三个书箱各不相同，有柜门呈现Art Deco风格的“老大”，有前盖可开关的“老二”，还有设计精妙、最能装的“老三”。值得一提的是，鲁迅先生也设计过书箱，而且非常有巧思。他曾对朋友说：“这些书架全部是木箱，装满书就是书箱，打开来成了书架，任何时候都可以装上汽车运走。”这种书箱设计也和鲁迅先生一生辗转各地有关。但不管走到哪儿，都要带着书，可见当时知识分子对读书的热爱。

在都市上海展区，墙面展示了三张文化地图。吧台背景墙展示用Art Deco风格绘制的“世界文学奖项分布图”，书架区展示手绘风格的“鲁迅小道地图”与“巴金虹口及周边行走路线”。读者们可以按图索骥，沿着两位文学大家的足迹打卡虹口。

吧台前陈列了一台“西屋咖啡磨豆机”，以及一百多年前和咖啡有关的器具，包括咖啡勺、存豆罐等。1933年春，77岁的萧伯纳访问上海，在礼查饭店喝的咖啡，就是用这台咖啡机研磨的咖啡豆冲泡而来。它带着岁月的斑驳，也承载着无尽的故事。

A coffee machine with an ancient and mottled appearance once ground coffee beans for literary giant George Bernard Shaw, who stayed at the Richard Hotel (now the China Securities Museum) in February 1933, leaving behind a literary aroma that spans a hundred years. At the reader service center across from the Shanghai Literature Museum, the reporter saw this "Westinghouse Coffee Grinder" with a story to tell. At present, the "Literary Pearl Flash mob" is being held here and will continue until the end of September.

Entering the reader service center, there is a strong literary atmosphere everywhere. The design of the entire space echoes the five permanent exhibition areas of "Time · Shanghai, Left Wing · Shanghai, City · Shanghai, Light and Shadow · Shanghai, and World · Shanghai" in the Shanghai Literature Museum, using celebrity portraits, literary quotes, old objects and artifacts, hand drawn maps, and art window stickers as display carriers. The five major scenes are arranged in sequence along the route, and visitors can move step by step to experience the immersive spatiotemporal tour of "Shanghai Literature".

The most visually perceptible changes of the times are the old objects related to writing and reading in the "Time Shanghai" exhibition area. In the era without laptops and smartphones, how could writers and literati work and write anytime, anywhere? A mobile writing desk from the 1930s may tell you the answer. Open the top cover, prop up the tilted writing board, turn on the built-in light, everything is ready - you can write at your desk or read lightly.

How did people in the past keep books? Unlike us who often use bookshelves now, we used to use book boxes which were smaller and more portable. The three book boxes displayed here are different from each other, including the "Big Boss" with Art Deco style cabinet doors, the "Second Brother" with a switchable front cover, and the ingeniously designed and most suitable "Third Brother". It is worth mentioning that Mr. Lu Xun also designed a bookshelf, and it was very ingenious. He once said to his friends, "These bookshelves are all wooden boxes. When filled with books, they become book boxes. When opened, they become bookshelves that can be loaded into cars and transported away at any time." This kind of book box design is also related to Mr. Lu Xun's travels throughout his life. But no matter where you go, you have to carry a book, which shows the love of intellectuals for reading at that time.

In the urban Shanghai exhibition area, three cultural maps are displayed on the walls. The background wall of the bar displays the "World Literature Award Distribution Map" drawn in Art Deco style, and the bookshelf area displays the hand drawn "Lu Xun Trail Map" and "Bajin Hongkou and Surrounding Walking Routes". Readers can follow the footsteps of two literary masters and check in at Hongkou.

There is a "Westinghouse coffee grinder" displayed in front of the bar, as well as coffee related utensils from over a hundred years ago, including coffee spoons, bean storage cans, etc. In the spring of 1933, 77 year old George Bernard Shaw visited Shanghai and drank coffee from the coffee beans ground by this coffee machine at the Richard's Hotel. It carries the scars of time and endless stories.
