湘潭首单非洲直采咖啡豆顺利抵达The first African direct coffee beans from Xiangtan have arrived smoothly

The goods entered the Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
Rednet News, May 16th, Xiangtan (Reporter Liu Fangming, Correspondent Liu Hui) On the afternoon of May 16th, as a freight vehicle carrying 19.2 tons of coffee beans entered the Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the first African direct coffee beans in the city were successfully delivered to Xiangtan.
It is reported that this batch of goods was directly purchased by Zhongyi Weaving Products Import and Export Co., Ltd. from its place of origin in Ethiopia, transported through multimodal transportation, and entered the bonded warehouse of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone in a bonded state. Utilizing the "bonded" function of the comprehensive bonded zone and leveraging the advantages of international logistics channels, the goods were stored and then distributed to the domestic market.
In the process of promoting this trade, Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Shaoshan Customs jointly established a service team and guided enterprises to fully utilize the policy advantages of the comprehensive bonded zone and the China Africa Economic and Trade Deep Cooperation Pilot Zone. They tailored a multimodal logistics plan and provided comprehensive foreign trade services and factor guarantees, greatly reducing the overall costs of logistics, warehousing, customs clearance, and other aspects.
The relevant person in charge of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone introduced that the import of coffee beans is only the first step in building the coffee industry in Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Next, the district will rely on the policy advantage of "six zones overlapping" to steadily expand the scale of imported raw beans, gradually promote the implementation of consumer application scenarios, baking and processing, and other links. Through the three wheel drive of "import distribution+local processing+scenario consumption", the district will build a full chain coffee industry ecosystem led by trade, supported by processing, and driven by consumption.
