On May 30th, a fully automated robot intelligent restaurant in the north gate of Baihuazhou, Jinan, was undergoing trial operation. As the first fully automated kitchen robot restaurant in the old city area of Jinan, there are no chefs or service personnel here. The entire process from ordering, making to serving is independently completed by robots.
Fried chicken, rice fries, coffee, ice cream... The menu is not complicated, but each dish is made by a machine.
The coffee machine is equipped with over a dozen types of beverages, including American style, latte, orange juice, and milk tea, and can serve in about 30 seconds. The on-site staff explained that this machine also has a "specialty" - customized printing. Customers can upload a picture, and the system can turn it into a pattern on the cup surface. A flower, a cat, or even a selfie can float on the milk foam.
Another fully automatic fryer is responsible for "filling the stomach". Set the temperature and timer to maintain the same heat for each pot of French fries and chicken rice pudding. The staff said, "It is difficult to control the temperature during manual frying, which may cause over frying. The machine does not have this problem, and it can be cooked on time in about 3 minutes with stable brittleness
In the stone slabs of Baihuazhou, this small shop looks a bit futuristic. But it may be quietly answering a question, when robots are no longer just arms in factories, but walk into street corners and use them in daily life, ordinary people's feelings about "technology changing lives" will no longer be distant news.
