鹤山古劳镇是偏身咏春拳的发源地，几乎家家户户习武、懂拳。2024年初，古劳偏身咏春拳第六代传承人冯宇俊将自家武馆一楼改造为咏春主题咖啡馆，让百年武术与年轻人喜爱的咖啡文化相遇。如今在咖啡馆中，冯宇俊以“咏春”拉花咖啡为媒，与客人探讨拳法精髓。店内陈列着咏春相关的字画书籍、拳谱绘本，每逢节假日，粤港澳大湾区游客纷至沓来，“咏春咖啡馆”成为远近闻名的网红打卡点。若遇到懂拳的客人，冯宇俊便邀至二楼武馆切磋，真正实现“以武会友”。

一池荷花 营造水乡美景

今年夏日，咖啡馆外新增“临荷逸趣”打卡点。荷花船、油纸伞、传统岭南水乡景致与咏春元素交织，形成“咏春遇上荷花”的独特意境。荷花主题特色餐饮同步推出，为游客提供移步换景的独特体验，让非遗文化在自然之美中焕发新活力。

咏春与荷花，一刚一柔，碰撞出不一样的火花。这里不仅是一家乡村咖啡馆，更成为展示鹤山非遗文化多元融合的窗口。

鹤山咏春拳作为“鹤山三宝”之首，2007年入选广东省第二批非物质文化遗产名录。冯宇俊的尝试，正是非遗活化传承的缩影——通过咖啡吸引年轻人关注咏春拳，让武术文化以轻松有趣的方式走进日常生活。从梁赞发扬咏春拳到今日“非遗正青春”，咏春拳在鹤山大地不断焕发新机。

Make friends through martial arts

A cup of coffee, conveying the soul of Wing Chun

Gulao Town in Heshan is the birthplace of Pian Sui Wing Chun, where almost every household practices martial arts and understands the art. In early 2024, Feng Yujun, the sixth generation inheritor of Wing Chun, transformed the first floor of his martial arts studio into a Wing Chun themed caf é, bringing together century old martial arts with the coffee culture loved by young people. Nowadays, in cafes, Feng Yujun uses "Wing Chun" latte art coffee as a medium to discuss the essence of martial arts with customers. The store displays calligraphy, painting, books, martial arts manuals, and picture books related to Wing Chun. During holidays, tourists from the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area flock here, and Wing Chun Cafe has become a well-known check-in spot for internet celebrities. If encountering guests who understand martial arts, Feng Yujun invites them to the second floor martial arts school to spar and truly achieve the goal of "meeting friends through martial arts".

A pond of lotus flowers creates a beautiful water town scenery

This summer, a "Linhe Yiqu" check-in point has been added outside the caf é. The lotus boat, oil paper umbrella, traditional Lingnan water town scenery, and elements of Wing Chun interweave to form a unique artistic conception of "Wing Chun meets lotus flowers". Lotus themed specialty catering is launched simultaneously, providing tourists with a unique experience of changing scenery and revitalizing intangible cultural heritage in the beauty of nature.

Wing Chun and lotus, one rigid and one soft, collide to produce different sparks. This is not only a rural caf é, but also a window to showcase the diverse integration of Heshan's intangible cultural heritage.

New Chapter on Intangible Cultural Heritage

Revitalize inheritance to make tradition more approachable

As the first of the "Three Treasures of Heshan", Heshan Wing Chun was selected as the second batch of intangible cultural heritage in Guangdong Province in 2007. Feng Yujun's attempt is a microcosm of the revitalization and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage - attracting young people's attention to Wing Chun through coffee, and bringing martial arts culture into daily life in a relaxed and interesting way. From Liang Zan's promotion of Wing Chun to today's "youth of intangible cultural heritage", Wing Chun continues to shine with new opportunities on the land of Heshan.

Future Outlook

Culture empowers the new ecology of urban culture and tourism

A rural caf é with intangible cultural heritage as its theme can not only enhance the tourist experience, but also promote the integrated development of local culture and tourism. Heshan is using elements such as Wing Chun, lotus flowers, and coffee as carriers to create a unique urban business card, attracting more people to enter this "hometown of martial arts" and experience its profound heritage and new charm of the times.
