从西南营一杯咖啡，看崇川如何激活城市文化软实力From a cup of coffee in Southwest Camp, see how Chongchuan activates its urban cultural soft power

南通人的咖啡梦，终于实现了。7月31日一大早，Manner咖啡南通首店悄然开业。不出意外，各种排队打卡的分享刷爆社交平台。作为土生土长南通人创造的品牌，把首店选址在古韵悠长的西南营，或颇有一番考量，让百年古建与醇香咖啡撞出奇妙火花。

在刚刚结束的崇川区党代会上，明确把“突出文化强区，着力增强城市发展软实力”作为未来五年的目标。西南营、寺街作为南通城市文明的源头，崇川摒弃大拆大建，以“绣花功夫”实施微更新，保留街巷肌理与古建风貌，再精准植入咖啡、文创、读书会等年轻化业态，让沉寂文物活在当下。Manner落地正是本土情怀与文脉活化的双向奔赴，印证老城更新“留根、留人、留烟火”的发展思路。

今夏央视热播大剧《江海潮生》，将张謇实业救国的壮阔一生推向全国，掀起全民寻访先贤足迹的热潮。南通博物苑、唐闸工业遗存、啬园等与张謇相关的景点客流持续攀升，本地学生、外地游客循着荧幕故事走进实景，在老厂房、老园林里读懂“中国近代第一城”的厚重底蕴。这些景点，同样是崇川地域特色的文化符号，如何赓续传承江海文脉，让地域文化符号看得见、摸得着、传得开，正是未来五年崇川文化强区建设的方向。

前不久，卡塔尔ALMana家族二十余人专程来到崇川，在崇川区森迪旅游度假区开启三天两晚深度定制之旅，沉浸式体验与野生动物互动。如今，该度假区每年超3万名游客选择两晚以上留宿，外籍游客年接待量突破两万人次，长线深度游成为常态。做强融合文旅产业，拓宽长三角特色度假新赛道。按照党代会规划，崇川深耕千年濠河、唐闸工业遗存、都市田园三大文旅IP，推出青少年研学、康养休闲多元游线，彻底改写过去“一日短途游”的刻板印象。

去年同期，南通森林野生动物园清空许愿池帮助白血病女孩的暖心故事感动全网。这背后，是崇川涵养向善文明风尚的精神底色。党代会着重强调，要广泛践行社会主义核心价值观，推进新时代文明实践“一圈两带”建设，传承“莫文隋”精神、胡汉生与吴锦泉“慈善双雄”善行，放大“知心奶奶”志愿品牌效应。

古巷咖啡香、热剧寻迹潮、三日深度游，一组组鲜活场景，串联起崇川文化强区建设的坚实步伐。下一步，崇川区将持续对标党代会部署，一手守护江海文脉、活化历史遗存，一手壮大文旅融合产业，深耕精神文明建设，以厚重文化软实力积蓄高质量发展动能，奋力打造独具江海辨识度的人文主城。

The coffee dream of Nantong people has finally come true. On the early morning of July 31st, Manner Coffee's first store in Nantong quietly opened. As expected, various queues for clocking in and out have flooded social media platforms. As a brand created by a native of Nantong, choosing the location of its first store in the ancient and charming Southwest Camp may have some considerations, creating a wonderful spark between the century old architecture and the rich aroma of coffee.

At the just concluded Chongchuan District Party Congress, it was explicitly stated that the goal for the next five years is to highlight the cultural strength of the district and focus on enhancing the soft power of urban development. As the source of Nantong's urban civilization, Southwest Camp and Temple Street in Chongchuan have abandoned large-scale demolition and construction, implemented micro updates with "embroidery skills", preserved the texture of streets and alleys and the style of ancient buildings, and accurately implanted youthful formats such as coffee, cultural and creative industries, and book clubs, allowing dormant cultural relics to live in the present. The landing of Manner is a two-way journey of local sentiment and cultural revitalization, which confirms the development concept of "leaving roots, people, and fireworks" in the renewal of the old city.

This summer, the popular CCTV drama "Jiang Haichao Sheng" has pushed Zhang Jian's magnificent life of saving the country through industry to the whole country, sparking a wave of nationwide search for the footprints of the ancestors. The flow of visitors to attractions related to Zhang Jian, such as Nantong Museum, Tangzha Industrial Relics, and Siyuan, continues to rise. Local students and tourists from other places follow the stories on the screen and enter the real scene to understand the profound heritage of "China's first modern city" in old factories and gardens. These scenic spots are also cultural symbols of Chongchuan's regional characteristics. How to continue to inherit the river and sea culture, and make the regional cultural symbols visible, tangible, and widely spread, is the direction for the construction of Chongchuan's cultural strong zone in the next five years.

Not long ago, more than 20 members of the Al Mana family from Qatar came to Chongchuan to embark on a three-day and two night customized tour at the Sendi Tourist Resort in Chongchuan District, immersing themselves in interactive experiences with wildlife. Nowadays, more than 30000 tourists choose to stay for two or more nights every year in the resort, and the annual reception of foreign tourists exceeds 20000, making long-term in-depth tours the norm. Strengthen the integration of cultural and tourism industries, and broaden the new track of characteristic vacations in the Yangtze River Delta. According to the plan of the Party Congress, Chongchuan has deeply cultivated three major cultural and tourism IPs: the millennium Haohe River, Tangzha Industrial Relics, and Urban Countryside. It has launched a diverse range of youth study tours, health and leisure activities, completely rewriting the stereotype of "one-day short distance travel" in the past.

Last year at the same time, the heartwarming story of Nantong Forest Wildlife Park clearing its wishing pool to help a leukemia girl moved the entire internet. Behind this is the spiritual foundation of Chongchuan's cultivation of a culture of goodness and civilization. The Party Congress emphasized the need to widely practice the socialist core values, promote the construction of the "One Circle and Two Belts" civilization practice in the new era, inherit the spirit of "Mo Wen Sui", the charitable deeds of Hu Hansheng and Wu Jinquan, and amplify the volunteer brand effect of "Know Your Heart Grandma".

The aroma of coffee in ancient alleys, the trend of finding traces in hot dramas, and a three-day in-depth tour, are a series of vivid scenes that connect the solid steps of building a strong cultural area in Chongchuan. Next, Chongchuan District will continue to benchmark the deployment of the Party Congress, guarding the cultural heritage of the Yangtze River and the sea, revitalizing historical relics, and strengthening the integration of culture and tourism industries. We will deeply cultivate the construction of spiritual civilization, accumulate high-quality development momentum with our strong cultural soft power, and strive to build a unique cultural city with distinctive features of the Yangtze River and the sea.
