华南国际咖啡交易创新中心落户广州白云区South China International Coffee Trading Innovation Center settled in Baiyun District, Guangzhou

中新网广州8月17日电 (记者 王坚)据广州市白云区政府17日消息，华南国际咖啡交易创新中心、华南国际咖啡生豆分拨中心近日正式落户白云区三元里街汇德咖啡产业中心。

据介绍，按照发展规划，两大产业中心首年将导入50家以上国际供应商与采购商，实现年度生豆交易量1.2万吨的目标，助力广州从咖啡“过路港”迈向咖啡交易、定价、品控的“终点站”。

广州市咖啡行业协会副会长李陶表示，广州是全球生豆进入中国的重要通道，但在交易定价、指数发布等核心环节上，话语权仍有待加强。

据了解，广州咖啡门店数量位列全国第二，但产业链长期缺失一个关键环节——交易中心与定价权。如今，这一产业短板正在被补齐。

华南国际咖啡交易创新中心定位为轻资产、服务型咖啡现货交易平台，包含交易服务平台、指数平台、标准中心三大业务板块，提供信息撮合、交易保障、供应链金融及标准制定服务。其中，标准中心的目标是用一到两年时间，推动广州制定涵盖检验检疫、品质分级、仓储物流等环节的咖啡标准体系，实现“交易产生数据，数据沉淀为指数，标准确保品质”。

此外，华南国际咖啡生豆分拨中心已分别与非洲、美洲、亚洲各大核心咖啡产区签署上游合作协议，并与广东省内烘焙工厂及连锁品牌签署下游协议，正式打通全球产区到华南烘焙工厂的完整供应链。(完)

Guangzhou, August 17th (Xinhua) -- According to the Baiyun District Government of Guangzhou on the 17th, the South China International Coffee Trading Innovation Center and the South China International Coffee Green Bean Distribution Center have officially settled in the Huide Coffee Industry Center on Sanyuanli Street in Baiyun District.

It is reported that according to the development plan, the two major industrial centers will introduce more than 50 international suppliers and purchasers in the first year, achieving the goal of an annual trading volume of 12000 tons of green beans, and helping Guangzhou move from a "passing port" for coffee to a "terminal station" for coffee trading, pricing, and quality control.

Li Tao, Vice President of the Guangzhou Coffee Industry Association, stated that Guangzhou is an important channel for global green beans to enter China, but its voice still needs to be strengthened in core areas such as transaction pricing and index release.

It is reported that the number of coffee shops in Guangzhou ranks second in the country, but a key link in the industry chain has long been missing - the trading center and pricing power. Nowadays, the shortcomings of this industry are being filled.

The South China International Coffee Trading Innovation Center is positioned as a light asset, service-oriented coffee spot trading platform, including three major business segments: trading service platform, index platform, and standard center, providing information matching, trading guarantee, supply chain finance, and standard setting services. Among them, the goal of the Standards Center is to promote the development of a coffee standard system in Guangzhou that covers inspection and quarantine, quality grading, warehousing and logistics within one to two years, achieving the goal of "data generation from transactions, data precipitation into indices, and standards ensuring quality".

In addition, the South China International Coffee Green Bean Distribution Center has signed upstream cooperation agreements with major core coffee production areas in Africa, America, and Asia, and downstream agreements with roasting factories and chain brands in Guangdong Province, officially connecting the complete supply chain from global production areas to roasting factories in South China.
