在宋庄,把艺术融进一杯咖啡里In Songzhuang, integrate art into a cup of coffee

If you were to choose a beverage that complements art, what would you choose?
Many people may spontaneously think of coffee.
The Caf é de la Flore in Paris witnessed the birth of existentialism and surrealism; The Four Cats Cafe in Barcelona once captured the youthful figures of Picasso and Dali; The Vienna Central Caf é is closely associated with famous names such as Zweig, Klimt, and Beethoven.
These spaces themselves have become another footnote to art.
So, as an art town, how could Songzhuang lack this charming coffee aroma?
In Songzhuang, a caf é is a place where the owner turns life into a "work" and invites you to sit down and have a drink. The corners that are taken seriously - the ice cups kept at minus 86 degrees Celsius, the tracks of tree shade moving on the ground, and the green plants sprouting from the cracks in the cement walls - are each an art scene created by the owner day after day, and also the days themselves.
The editor has explored three coffee shops for you this time. After strolling around all afternoon, you will find
Every caf é in Songzhuang is an ongoing art scene.

Ice cup at minus 86 ℃, each cup is improvised
Hidden in the double layered space of the National Defense Art Zone, the scenery is exquisite to the point where every corner can be directly filmed. But once you enter, your gaze will be instantly captured by one thing - the glass covered in white frost.
The cup used by the brand Dirty has been stored in an ultra-low temperature freezer at minus 86 ℃ for a long time. When it is served, the cup wall is covered with ice crystals, like an object just taken out of an ice cellar. At the moment when the hot concentration is slowly injected, the coffee oil explodes, layers, and solidifies when it touches the frost - the whole process takes less than ten seconds, like a concentrated seasonal alternation.
The clerk gently reminded: "Drink it in one minute." The three mouthfuls went into the throat, and the bright fruit acid in the top note, the burnt nuts in the middle, and the chocolate aftertaste in the tail were fried layer by layer. Low temperature locking firmly seals the original aroma of coffee beans, silky and dense, not like drinking coffee, but more like "eating" a solid cup of summer.
From the cold visual impact, to the instant tension of the collision between the hot liquid and the ice wall, to the gradual unfolding of flavor in the mouth - a cup of coffee, three acts of drama.
This art scene does not have admission tickets, one cup of Dirty, and you can enter the theater as soon as you sit down.

Two trees in a small courtyard
Hidden in the slow courtyard of Jiangnan in Songzhuang
The Treasure Courtyard is named after two old trees in the courtyard. Pushing open the door and stepping in, the heat automatically dissipates. The small bridge flowing water, tent booth, swing chair - they are all embellishments, and the real protagonist is always the shade of those two trees.
In the afternoon, the sunlight filtered through the gaps between the leaves, and the light spots slowly moved on the green brick ground. You sit down below, watching the clouds drift from one tree to another, cats and dogs taking turns rubbing against your ankles, lying down on the spot, knowing better than you how to pass the time.
There are no exhibition signs or author signatures here, only tree shadows, gentle breeze, coffee aroma, and your completely empty state. The boss just takes care of the yard, dries the beans, and then hands over the rest to the trees, the light, and the people who come.
If you are willing to experience it, this is an art scene about 'slow'.

Shujing Coffee
The jungle secret realm deep in the alley
Closing this house was the most surprising.
As soon as the door was pushed open, the whole house was covered in greenery - tree trunks climbed all the way from the ground to the ceiling, branches and leaves woven into a dome above their heads, as if they had moved an entire yard into the interior. Cement bare walls, old wooden furniture, wildly growing turtle backed bamboo and ferns - the rough industrial skeleton and savage vitality intertwine with each other. Sitting in any corner feels like entering a contemporary still life painting.
The backyard is even more beautiful, with persimmons and hawthorns adorned with green fruits. Sitting on a camping chair and ordering a signature "Don't Want to Go to Work" cocktail, paired with a handmade burger, doesn't feel boring from the afternoon until the sunset sets. Hamburgers are certainly delicious, but what really makes people unable to move is the illusion of "time suddenly belongs to you" - the schedule in your phone and the KPIs in your mind are filtered out by layers of greenery, leaving only light silently moving between the veins.
The store is pet friendly, with many customers bringing their furry children. The dog was snoring at its feet, while its owner was flipping through books haphazardly.
This painting is exhibited by Songzhuang every day, without any closed days.
