据悉,2026世界咖啡师大赛中国区选拔赛(CBC)贵阳分区赛、2026世界咖啡冲煮大赛中国区选拔赛(CBrC)贵阳分区赛将分别决出3名和6名选手,优胜选手直接晋级7月将在贵阳举办的2026赛季全国总决赛,而最终夺冠者则代表中国咖啡行业,登上国际咖啡赛事舞台,向世界展现中国咖啡师的实力。

It is reported that the Guiyang Division of the 2026 World Barista Competition China Selection (CBC) and the Guiyang Division of the 2026 World Coffee Brewing Competition China Selection (CBrC) will respectively determine 3 and 6 contestants. The winning contestants will directly advance to the 2026 National Finals, which will be held in Guiyang in July. The ultimate champion will represent the Chinese coffee industry and step onto the international coffee competition stage to showcase the strength of Chinese baristas to the world.

As one of the judges of this competition, Bai Kai, the international judge of the WBrC World Coffee Brewing Competition and founder of HuHu Yuanzhu Cup, said, "This is a competitive competition that strictly follows rules and standards. Bai Kai also mentioned that in recent years, Guiyang's business card effect on the national coffee map has become increasingly prominent. Of particular note is that after Peng Jinyang, the owner of the "Captain George" brand, won the World Coffee Brewing Championship in 2025, Guiyang has once again taken on such a high-level coffee competition, which is of great significance. This competition cleverly incorporated coffee culture activities, attracting more ordinary citizens to pay attention to professional events and attracting many outstanding contestants willing to participate.

Bai Kai told reporters that this is his fifth time participating in the competition evaluation, and he clearly feels that everyone's demand for coffee quality is increasing, and this reputation is rapidly spreading outward. Nowadays, many tourists from other places come to Guiyang specifically to check in at local coffee shops, and the phenomenon of coming to Guiyang for a cup of coffee is a positive signal.
