以技提质赋能服务业 海口“工会杯”咖啡师职业技能竞赛开赛Empowering the Service Industry with Technology, Haikou "Union Cup" Barista Vocational Skills Competition kicks off

6月28日，2026年海口市职业技能竞赛——“工会杯”咖啡师职业技能竞赛在海口正式开赛。赛事由海口市总工会、市人社局联合主办，是当地工会深化产业工人队伍建设改革、落实技能人才培育工作的重要实战载体。

海南咖啡产业底蕴深厚，海口依托福山、兴隆百年种植及归侨焙炒技艺积淀，咖啡消费业态、精品茶饮产业持续壮大，咖啡师队伍已成为海口现代服务业不可或缺的新型产业工人力量。本次竞赛以“建功自贸港·劳动筑梦想”为牵引，坚持以赛促训、以赛促练、以赛促建，旨在发掘行业技能骨干、规范行业技艺标准、培育本土高技能服务人才。

赛场现场高手云集，多名长期扎根门店一线、深耕服务岗位的青年技能职工同台竞技。来自母山咖啡的参赛选手符春恋拥有4年从业经验，持有中级咖啡师资质。她告诉记者，行业高手同台比拼，既是压力更是动力，自己希望通过赛事精进手冲、意式制作核心技艺，积累研发经验，持续提升岗位专业能力。

从业3年、自主运营咖啡工作室的青年选手曾文厚坦言，技能竞赛是查找短板、补齐弱项的最佳途径。全新的连贯赛制更贴合实战场景，能精准暴露操作细节不足。“和同行交流切磋，互相取长补短，技能提升非常明显，我希望通过这次比赛实现技能等级晋级，在岗位上持续精进技艺。”

On June 28th, 2026, the Haikou Vocational Skills Competition - "Union Cup" Barista Vocational Skills Competition officially started in Haikou. The competition is jointly organized by the Haikou Federation of Trade Unions and the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and is an important practical carrier for local trade unions to deepen the reform of industrial worker team construction and implement the cultivation of skilled talents.

The coffee industry in Hainan has a profound foundation, and Haikou relies on the century old cultivation of Fushan and Xinglong, as well as the roasting skills of returning overseas Chinese. The coffee consumption industry and boutique tea beverage industry continue to grow, and the team of baristas has become an indispensable new industrial worker force in Haikou's modern service industry. This competition is guided by the theme of "Building a Successful Free Trade Port and Building Dreams through Labor", insisting on using competition to promote training, practice, and construction. The aim is to discover industry skill backbones, standardize industry skill standards, and cultivate local high skilled service talents.

This competition innovates the competition mode, breaking the previous single event competition format and setting up a high-intensity and coherent schedule. Participants are required to complete the Italian coffee making and non pressure brewing assessments in sequence within 10 minutes, comprehensively testing their professional skills such as standardized techniques, temperature control, and practical exercises. At the same time, the competition directly leads to the recognition of professional skill levels. The top three can be promoted to senior baristas, and the top fifteen can be promoted to intermediate baristas, effectively achieving "competition level, competition level, and competition growth".

On the field, experts gathered, and several young skilled workers who had long been rooted in the front line of stores and deeply cultivated service positions competed on the same stage. Contestant Fu Chunlian from Mushan Coffee has 4 years of professional experience and holds the intermediate barista qualification. She told reporters that competing with industry experts on the same stage is not only pressure but also motivation. She hopes to improve her core skills in hand punching and Italian style production through competitions, accumulate research and development experience, and continuously enhance her professional abilities in the position.

Zeng Wenhou, a young player with 3 years of experience and independent operation of a coffee studio, frankly stated that skill competitions are the best way to identify weaknesses and make up for them. The new coherent competition format is more suitable for practical scenarios and can accurately expose the lack of operational details. Communicating and exchanging ideas with peers, learning from each other's strengths and weaknesses, and improving skills significantly, I hope to achieve skill level advancement through this competition and continuously improve my skills in my position
