At 3 pm, the sunlight shone through the treetops of Changpo Ridge National Forest Park in Guiyang and into a garden coffee shop. Several young consumers stood in front of the 6-meter long ground frame scenery, constantly searching for the best shooting location.

The sunlight passes through the mist, outlining beams of light in the black space, and the figures of coffee, forest, and consumers are simultaneously captured in the camera.

Wow! "Said a citizen who came specifically to check in.

In Changpo Ridge National Forest Park, a garden coffee space integrates forests, beverages, and landscapes, exploring new consumption patterns in the suburbs of cities through the extension of "coffee+ecology".

Our team used to mainly engage in landscape design. By chance, we came into contact with an idle state-owned asset in Changpo Ridge. With in-depth investigation of the site, the team found that this space with abundant natural resources has more possibilities, "said Feng Linmei, the person in charge of Yishi Garden.

In the early stages of store design, the team visited the site multiple times to observe changes in lighting, spatial layout, and plant growth status, studying how to transform the natural environment into a consumer experience. The final decision was to add new consumer formats on top of the office space.

We are not simply building a coffee shop, but hoping to use beverages as a connection to provide consumers with more experiences in the natural environment, "said Feng Linmei.

In terms of spatial design, a large area of the garden coffee shop adopts a black tone, creating a contrast with the external green vegetation; Set up a 6-meter long frame view indoors, making the forest a part of the space. Elements such as moss and volcanic rocks are introduced indoors, echoing the green tone of the main product matcha.

The drinks here have also become an important part of the spatial experience, with matcha products as the specialty and coffee and other beverages provided in the store.

Architecture cannot block nature from the outside, but rather bring in the scenery from the outside, "said Feng Linmei. In order to achieve this integration, the team invited spatial designers to jointly optimize the plan, adjusting lighting, layout, and plant configuration to create a continuous visual relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The best shooting time here is from 3pm to 5pm. The western sun shines through the misty forest system in the space, forming a beam of light similar to the Tyndale effect in the air, creating a unique picture of forests, buildings, and coffee and matcha in the hands of consumers.

A cup of coffee or a cup of matcha is not only a beverage here, but also a way for consumers to stay, communicate, and experience nature, "said Feng Linmei.

Since its trial operation on April 8th this year, YiYiYuan has attracted many consumers to come and experience it. Since the trial operation, the highest daily reception of consumers has been about 800, and the average daily passenger flow is about 300 to 500.

Nowadays, non standardized consumption spaces that integrate natural environments, cultural experiences, and characteristic scenes are becoming a new choice for more and more consumers.

People are not only concerned about eating and drinking well, but also increasingly about the environment and experience, "said Feng Linmei.

In recent years, from "coffee+forest" to "coffee+cave" and "coffee+waterfall", relying on characteristic spaces to create consumption scenes has become a new way for Guiyang to explore the integration of culture and tourism. The rich ecological resources also provide natural conditions for such new formats.

Standardized commercial spaces rely more on product competition, and we hope to create differentiation through natural environment and spatial experience, "said Feng Linmei.

Changpo Ridge National Forest Park is located close to the core area of the city, retaining the ecological advantages of the forest and meeting the needs of consumers for convenient access.

It's not necessary to walk far to get close to nature, the same experience can be had around the city, "said Feng Linmei.

The feedback from the first store operation has also strengthened the team's confidence in continuing to explore. At present, the construction of the second store of "One Touch Garden" has started, continuing to create new consumption spaces around forest scenes.

The natural environment of each place is different, and the presentation should also be different, "said Feng Linmei. Consumers need not only the goods themselves, but also a new consumption scene composed of environment, culture, and experience.
