On June 10th, China News Service reported from Baoshan, Yunnan that the second Cross Strait Coffee Cultural Exchange Event "Cloud Coffee · Fragrance Drifting Across the Taiwan Strait" opened in Baoshan City, Yunnan Province. The on-site release of the "Shanhaikayu" hanging ear coffee blended with high-quality soybean seeds from Gaoligong Mountain in Yunnan and Alishan in Taiwan has become a new achievement in the cooperation of the Yuntai coffee industry.

This event is jointly organized by Yunnan Overseas Friendship Association and Yunnan Provincial Committee Taiwan Affairs Office. From June 10th to 13th, the opening ceremony, keynote sharing session, Yuntai Coffee Memorial Forest planting, on-site inspection and exchange activities will be held in Baoshan City. Nearly 200 experts from the fields of coffee cultivation, baking, brewing and tasting, industry education, as well as coffee plantation owners, entrepreneurs in Yunnan, Taiwan, and other industries from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, participated.
Yang Zhu, Vice President of Baoshan Coffee Industry Association and Chairman of Baoshan Zhongka Food Co., Ltd., introduced that "Shanhai Coffee Language" is carefully blended by the world's coffee roasting and brewing champion team, with clear layers and a smooth integration. Gaoligong Mountain supports a mellow and sweet feeling, while Alishan brings delicate fruit aroma, soft and delicate, with a long-lasting aftertaste.
On that day, Baoshan Coffee Industry Association, Baoshan Technician College, Baoshan Zhongka Food Co., Ltd., and Taiwan Fine Coffee Association signed contracts to cooperate in various fields such as coffee industry development, talent cultivation, and introduction.
Cao Cunli, a Taiwanese businessman and general manager of Baoshan Lin Guo Coffee Co., Ltd., who has been rooted in Baoshan to purchase coffee beans for more than 20 years, said, "Due to the constraints of terrain and climate, the scale of coffee cultivation in Taiwan is limited, but it has significant advantages in refined craftsmanship and cultural accumulation, which happens to complement the mainland." He pointed out that Yunnan's superior climate, vast land, and location advantages radiating to South Asia, Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea markets are attracting more and more Taiwanese coffee companies to invest and layout.
The fourth "Baoshan Small Grain Coffee Culture Week" was launched on the same day. Taiwanese coffee lecturer Wu Sumei said that Baoshan Tie Pi Ka coffee beans have a full flavor and a significant sweetness of toffee. I placed an order on the spot to bring Baoshan Good Coffee back to Taiwan for my friends to taste.
