Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, July 6th (Reporter Mu Shengyu) - As summer approaches, in order to enable young people and students to seek true knowledge and develop skills through practice, and to experience the deep integration of natural ecology and manual skills in the world's tea town, the Pu'er Coffee Master Talent Service Center officially launched the "2026 Summer Coffee Master Study and Skill Enhancement Project", publicly recruiting "Little Coffee Master" study students and young coffee skill training students nationwide.

As the "Coffee Capital of China", Pu'er not only produces high-quality specialty coffee, but also has a full chain and panoramic coffee teaching resources from seed cultivation to cup making. According to the organizers, this summer program abandons traditional horse riding and sightseeing experiences, and tailors immersive and high-value professional practical courses for different age groups.
For teenagers aged 10 to 15 and families with children, the project offers a 2-3 day "Little Coffee Master" study and experience camp. The course focuses on fun learning and integrating learning with enjoyment, leading students into a boutique coffee plantation and embarking on an immersive journey of bean exploration. Here, the botanical knowledge in books becomes intuitive and perceptible, and students can observe the growth of coffee plants up close, witnessing the entire process of coffee red fruit transforming into a fragrant beverage. The course abandons boring theoretical indoctrination and sets up rich practical activities such as coffee bean identification, coffee hand brewing skills, and creative special recipe making, comprehensively exercising young people's concentration, observation, and hands-on practical abilities.
Students who successfully complete the postgraduate course and pass the assessment can obtain the "Pu'er Barista Series - Little Barista Certificate" certified by the Pu'er Barista Talent Service Center in conjunction with industry associations. This certificate is not only a unique summer growth experience for teenagers, but also a career enlightenment certificate with industry recognition.

For high school students aged 16 and above, college students, and coffee enthusiasts with zero foundation, the project offers a 3-4 day training course for beginner and intermediate barista skills. The course focuses on practical knowledge, covering basic theories of the coffee industry, Pu erh specialty coffee tasting, Italian coffee machine operation, basic latte art, creative beverage blending, and other specialized practical content.
This teaching adopts a dual venue empowerment mode of "real estate scene+professional training", coordinated by the Pu'er Coffee Teacher Talent Service Center. Scene based teaching is alternately carried out in boutique coffee estates and standardized training bases of universities, taking into account the natural learning atmosphere of the production area and the standardization and rigor of professional teaching. Outstanding students can be included in the Pu erh coffee talent reserve pool, laying a solid foundation for future part-time employment, independent entrepreneurship, and deep cultivation in the coffee industry. After passing the assessment, students can apply for the authoritative certification of "Pu erh Coffee Master (Junior/Intermediate) Certificate".
In order to strictly control the quality of teaching and ensure the learning experience, this project implements a nationwide unified recruitment and group opening mechanism with 20 or more students. The teaching venues are coordinated and connected by the center, and are selectively allocated to major boutique coffee plantations and university training bases. The entire process relies on standardized curriculum systems and high-quality resources throughout the coffee industry chain to ensure teaching quality.
