The coffee shop that has appeared on CCTV cameras has entered the Party and Mass Service Center

Entering the new location of the Party and Mass Service Center in Hongqiao Town, the aroma of coffee is rich and mellow. Behind the open bar on the first floor, Qu Zhongzhu, the owner of "Crazy Coffee Beans," is skillfully making a 9.9 yuan American style cup.
Old customers call him Brother Zhu, and he has been "running around" in Hongqiao Town for a whole decade. The "Crazy Coffee Beans" used to be a 15 square meter "Japanese Coffee Night Wine" shop on the street of Hongqiao. This coffee shop has a rating of 4.4 on review websites, but now it has shed the label of "petty bourgeoisie" and entered the Party and Mass Service Center.
In the era of 'rampage', coffee is both the starting and ending point
'Rampage' is not only the name of Brother Zhu's shop, but also a reflection of his early life. In 2008, he came to Shanghai to work hard and has been running around the Yangtze River Delta for a living all year round. It was not until 2016 that he opened his first coffee shop on a secluded path in Hongqiao Town, and his wandering footsteps were considered a temporary rest. The original coffee shop was not large in size and had a somewhat "petty bourgeois" style of decoration. There was a small table at the entrance of the shop, where three to five friends often sat around the table.
I always remember going to apply for a business license in 2016, and the teacher at Hongqiao Town Market issued the certificate urgently the next day. When I asked for the reason, they said they understood that 'running a small shop is not easy,' "recalled Zhuge. Thanks to the recommendation of the town, our small shop appeared on CCTV's "Economic Half Hour" program. The recognition of customers and the goodwill of the management department gave Brother Zhu the confidence to establish himself in Hongqiao Town.
At the end of 2025, the 9-year-old store is facing a survival crisis when its lease expires. In order to find a new storefront, Zhuge had to once again activate the "rampage" addressing mode.
Coincidentally, Secretary Wang of the Ziteng Street Party learned about Zhuge's predicament while wandering the streets, and quickly recommended this shop owner who understands the community and has a good reputation to the Hongqiao Town Party and Mass Service Center, which is preparing for a new position.

Previously, ordinary people thought that the Party and Mass Center was a place for Party members to hold meetings. Now that the venue has been moved to the first floor, we hope to use the aroma of a cup of coffee to let everyone naturally enter, "said Zhu Wen, director of the Party and Mass Service Center in Hongqiao Town.
On one hand, there are local small shops in urgent need of space, and on the other hand, there are public spaces that need to introduce vitality. This cooperation can be seen as a two-way journey, but it is also accompanied by trade-offs. In the past, the old store relied on the "daily coffee and night wine" model to maintain profits. Entering the Party and Mass Center meant that Brother Zhu had to give up the business of selling alcohol.
The Party and Mass Center is a public cultural venue for all ages, and selling alcohol at night is obviously not in line with the tone, "said Zhuge." The Party and Mass Center has given rent reductions for stores, and we should respond accordingly. In the evening, I plan to add more coffee courses to allow more people to enter our Party and Mass Center through 'rampage'
Store Overview

Moreover, relying on his mature baking supply chain, Zhuge has launched 9.9 yuan American style coffee and 15 yuan latte in stores without compromising quality. By lowering the price, nearby residents can enjoy this cup of coffee at a lower threshold, which is also my feedback to the community
Stop moving and create a 'hyperlink' in the party mass battlefield
After settling into the Party and Mass Center, Zhuge, who had been on a rampage for ten years, finally settled down. His coffee shop also shed its original "petty bourgeois" label and became the "hyperlink" of the community.
White collar workers from surrounding enterprises have become frequent visitors here. I work in the office building behind me, and I used to feel a sense of distance from the Party Mass Center, "said white-collar worker Miss Wan, who developed a strong interest in coffee after attending a charity experience class organized by the center." Now whenever I have free time, I come over to learn how to make coffee from Brother Zhu. This kind of cultural experience without barriers is really great
A more interesting chemical reaction takes place within the Party Mass Center. The science and technology innovation team and geeks who settled on the second floor often drink coffee downstairs. Zhuge brought up the "AI+Coffee Culture" course he planned at Shanghai Jiao Tong University to explore. In the collision of cups of coffee, the caf é has also become a small 'community think tank'.
The government sets up the stage, merchants sing the opera, and the people benefit. Hongqiao Town has revitalized the cultural services of the new party mass battlefield with extremely low management costs, and this coffee shop has also transcended the limitations of individual businesses and achieved social value on a broader platform.
Coffee itself is a highly inclusive medium, "said Zhuge while making coffee at the brand new bar counter. In this city that embraces all rivers, a shop owner who has been struggling for ten years has finally encountered a "two-way rush" with a street town.
